Calvin Harris has posted a warning on his MySpace page about a stunt he plans to do where he tries to find the best house party in the country.
The musician will go up and down the UK on August 18 checking out a number of parties and will give a prize of £1,500 and a live performance for the best one.
Although his record label denies the intentions are irresponsible, he has now posted a warning on the social networking site. It reads: "Before entering this promotion, please ensure that you have all necessary permissions to hold your house party and to use the venue of your choice."
It has been reported that a number of parents are in uproar about the plans, which Calvin appears to be aware of, with the phrase "a hate figure for parents" being written on his site.
The stunt ties in with the release of single 'Merrymaking In My House' which has a video featuring a mad house party.
