Amy Winehouse rushed to hospital

Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning after she collapsed from a feared drug overdose.

The 'Rehab' singer was taken in to the London University College hospital in a semi-conscious state by a friend and her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

She then allegedly fell on the floor and was rushed in for emergency treatment, was given a shot of adrenaline and had her stomach pumped.

Her record company has insisted it was due to "severe exhaustion" but The Sun claims it was a result of a "huge drug overdose".

She was discharged last night.
