Brad Pitt turned out for jury duty in Los Angeles yesterday, serving on a driving under the influence case.
US law demands that all American citizens turn up for jury duty when requested, as long as they are over 18 years old and are residents within the court's jurisdiction.
Pitt's representative told America's People magazine: "He served just like everyone else does."
The Ocean's Eleven actor arrived at the LA court wearing a T-shirt, dark jeans and a black cap.
The star will not have to serve on the trial due to the defendant offering a plea of no contest.
