An investigation has been launched over a possible sexual assault that took place at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles over the weekend.
LA police have been looking into allegations about a forced encounter that happened during the Midsummer's Night's Dream pyjama party at the abode.
The event is put on annually by the Playboy legend but not much information has been given about the alleged incident. A statement from the LA Police Department said: "For reasons of law and confidentiality that are critical in such investigations, no additional information will be released".
However, publicity director at Playboy Enterprises, Rob Hilburger told E! News that he had not been alerted about any such police investigation, but admitted a small incident had been dealt with.
He claimed that a female server had informed security about a male guest who had approached her despite having a restraining order against him. He was then escorted off the premises.
Hilburger said of the incident: "We obviously take this very seriously, and we want to help any way we can".
