Andre denies marriage crisis claims

Peter Andre has denied "hurtful" claims that his marriage to Katie Price is in trouble.

The singer and reality TV star was shocked when he read a report which stated that Katie - also known as glamour model Jordan - had turned her back on their relationship and taken off her wedding ring.

Andre is currently staying at his new £3.5 million home in Cyprus, making preparations for Katie and the children to come out and visit. Meanwhile, Price has been spotted on nights out in London with former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton and controversial Celebrity Big Brother housemate Danielle Lloyd, sparking rumours that she was enjoying the single life.

"There's absolutely no truth in what's been said about our marriage being in trouble," Andre told the Daily Star. "I can tell you we are the strongest couple around and I love her very much. Nothing will change that, I can assure you. These stories saying Jordan is taking her wedding ring off because our relationship is in trouble hurt."

He added: "Because Kate has been out having a great time with her pals while I'm here in Cyprus, people have jumped to the wrong conclusions. She's just doing what anyone would be doing right now after all she's been through recently."
