Tarrant's ex-wife defends Viagra revelation

Chris Tarrant's ex-wife Ingrid has defended her decision to speak about the TV host's Viagra use.

Last week, Ingrid revealed that the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter suffers from erectile dysfunction, in response to a newspaper claim that she had imposed a seven-year sex ban when they were together.

"I didn't want his Viagra use to be public, but my hand has been forced, like Abi Titmuss's. So now I've said my bit," Ingrid told the Daily Star Sunday. "He's had his comeuppance, so to speak."

Ingrid dumped Chris in September last year, after a newspaper revealed that he was cheating on her with schoolteacher Fiona McKechnie. They were granted a divorce in February.

Complaining about the sex ban report, Ingrid added: "I'm not a nun. If I'd gone that long without sex, I'd have asked him if I could have headed off and had some fun myself!"
