Dawn French 'surprised' to still be alive

Dawn French has admitted that she is surprised that she is still alive and believes that she won't be living for much longer.

The comedienne, who has revealed she is too big to fit into a bath, will be turning 50 later this year and is preparing for her death despite not being ill.

She plans to move to Cornwall next month with husband Lenny Henry to die "slowly and nicely in great surroundings”.

French also admitted: “I’ve never thought I’d live to be very old.”
