Christian Slater will present the top comedy award at this year's Edinburgh Fringe.
The star, who appeared in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest at 2004's festival, will reveal the winner of the if.comedy awards on August 25.
The prestigious award, formerly known as the Perrier, is now in its 27th year and sponsored by accounting firm Intelligent Finance.
It carries an £8,000 prize and judges, including top critics and editors, consider more than 300 entrants.
Slater commented: "Having made my UK stage debut at the Fringe, I am delighted to be returning to Edinburgh."
Scottish stand-up Phil Nichol won last year's award and big-name previous holders include Steve Coogan and the League of Gentlemen.
