Jamie Oliver has picked up "delish" as a new catchphrase as his spokesman confirms "pukka" is in the past.
The Daily Mirror has counted the celebrity chef say his new buzzword seven times during latest show Jamie At Home.
Among his herbal observations in the first of a new series is: "This is a delish thyme."
A spokesman for Oliver told the paper the previous watchword had in fact been out for some time: "He hasn't said pukka since Happy Days with the Naked Chef in 2001.
"Delish wasn't planned to be a catchphrase but if it kills off pukka for ever, that's a good thing, and if it inspires people to try the recipes at home, that's even better."
Meanwhile, Oliver has agreed to cook on the Richard and Judy Show for three coming Tuesdays.
