Di Caprio: '11th Hour' put off paps
Published Wednesday, Aug 15 2007, 10:09 BST | By Dave West
Leonardo Di Caprio has joked that making a documentary about climate change has "bored" the paparazzi into leaving him alone.
The star has recently finished producing 11th Hour - a non-fiction film and call to action to stop environmental breakdown.
He told the Chicago Sun-Times its bookish content had miraculously saved him from press attention.
He explained: "The tabloids and the paparazzi don't care what I have to say about global warming or getting away from dependency on fossil fuels. I think I've just bored them into leaving me alone."
The movie is due to hit cinemas later this year.
