Lohan being sued over car chase

Lindsay Lohan has been sued for allegedly chasing a car through Los Angeles last month, by the woman who was a passenger in the other car.

Tracie Rice has claimed the actions could have caused her injury or death and is seeking unspecified damages for being inflicted with emotional distress by the actress.

Lohan was arrested on July 24, the second time she had been charged with drunken driving this year. It is claimed Rice was in the passenger seat of the car being driven by the mother of Lohan's personal assistant, who had quit earlier that day.

A statement from Rice, read by her LA attorney's said: "What Miss Lohan did that night was extremely dangerous and reprehensible. Someone could easily have been killed or seriously hurt because of her irresponsible decisions".

The lawsuit claimed: "Plaintiff was convinced that their lives were in danger and that they had to outrun the pursuing car or they might be killed".
