Foxy Brown turns herself in to NY police

Foxy Brown has turned herself into New York police over her assaulting her neighbour with a mobile phone last month.
The rapper was charged with felony assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon, according to authorities.
Earlier this year she was also charged with assault at a beauty store in Florida and had claimed to be the victim of an assault herself in June.
Brown is due to appear in court on September 26.
She also announced this week that she would be leaving Def Jam records to join indie label Koch Records.
