Jack Osbourne rules out gastric bypass

Jack Osbourne has promised he will not follow in his mum Sharon's footsteps and have gastric surgery.

The reality TV star's mother had a gastric band fitted in 1999 to help deal with her continuing weight problems. Other celebrities that have undergone the surgery include Celebrity Big Brother contestant Anne Diamond and the daughter of Muhammad Ali, Khaliah Ali.

However, the Adrenaline Junkie presenter, who has battled with a fluctuating weight problems, doesn't think it's worth the money for him to have the operation.

He told The Sun: "I would never have surgery, although the decision is very much down to the individual. I wouldn't do it because I know I can lose the weight myself.

"It would be a waste of money really."
