Shayne Ward has vowed that he will never end up joining the likes of Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan in rehab.
The X Factor said: "I won't end up in rehab. My family and friends help to keep me grounded and wouldn't let me get out of control. But people like Britney and Lindsay have been in the public eye a lot longer than me and they're under much more scrutiny and pressure so I feel sorry for them."
However, Ward hasn't shunned the glamorous lifestyle altogether, admitting that he has enjoyed partying with various A-list celebrities since his rise to pop fame.
Ward commented: "I do get to hang out with lots of people. In Los Angeles I went to a party at Colin Farrell's house - he's amazing and I go clubbing with the Westlife boys."
He added: "Last year, I went to David and Victoria Beckham's pre-World Cup party. It's surreal hanging around with all these people I've seen on the TV!"
