Cheeky Girls face bankruptcy
The Cheeky Girls are facing the possibility of bankruptcy from an unpaid VAT bill.

The 'Touch My Bum' singers have told friends that they have been financially struggling since their record company Telstar shut down, while allegedly still owing the pair £2 million.

A report in The Sun now claims that the two singers are being chased down by HM Customs for an undisclosed amount of money.

Monica and Gabriela Irimia will be taken to court on October 17 unless they pay up and face the possibility of having their company closed.

The news follows a report earlier in the year claiming that the pop duo were £130,000 in debt to music industry figures.
