Charlotte Church has decided to have a water birth when she goes into labour with her first child, which is due next month.
The singer-turned-presenter, who is eight months pregnant with boyfriend Gavin Henson's baby, has decided to find out the sex of their child when it is delivered.
Church's mum Maria has now revealed that she has purchased a birthing pool ready for the big day after a friend convinced her it would be the best thing.
She said: "Her friend had a water birth and told her how great it was, so she's going for it.
"They are all the rage at the moment and there are a lot of benefits with them too."
