Diaz and Mayer rumours grow

Rumours about a relationship between Cameron Diaz and singer John Mayer have grown after the pair were spotted in an embrace at the Bowery Hotel.

A witness told America's People magazine: "They were all over each other and super flirty. They sat on a couch in the back of the patio and were laughing and talking a lot."

A source close to the American singer and former boyfriend of Jessica Simpson said of the allegations that the pair were dating: "Yes, it's definitely true."

The pair were first seen together sharing a

romantic meal in New York last week.
