'Alias' actress to star on Broadway

Alias star Jennifer Garner is going to appear in a version of Cyrano de Bergerac on Broadway.

Cyrano de Bergerac is a classic romance tale by Edward Rostand, which was translated by Anthony Burgess and was also adapted into a film starring Steve Martin in 1987 called Roxanne.

Garner will star alongside Kevin Kline and The Devil Wears Prada star Daniel Sunjata in the production, which opens on November 1 at the Richard Rogers Theatre.

The actress who is married to Ben Affleck will play the love interest Roxanne in the show.
