Ryan Phillippe wants to be a teacher

Ryan Phillippe is thinking about quitting his acting career to become a teacher.

The Gosford Park star - who split with wife Reese Witherspoon last year - said he wants to help children and may turn his back on Hollywood to pursue his ambition.

He revealed: "If I ever gave up acting, I'd probably teach - that's something I've always thought about, and I might do yet."

The 32-year-old is in London promoting new movie Breach, and said he prefers Britain to LA because he can spend time with his two children without being followed by paparazzi.
