Rapper Foxy Brown has been ordered to jail for violating her probation, say reports.
According to TMZ, Judge Mellisa Jackson in Manhattan Criminal Court ruled that Brown should remain behind bars until her court hearing due to repeated violations of her probation.
The musician was given three years' probation in 2006 for assaulting two manicurists back in 2004.
Brown has had several run-ins with the police authorities in recent months. Brown was accused earlier this week of lying to police about personal details during a traffic stop in New Jersey in July.
The star was driving while talking on her mobile and drove through a stop sign, according to police. It was later revealed that Brown was driving on a suspended licence.
This news came one day after an incident involving a mobile phone attack on the singer's neighbour Arlene Raymond.
