Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she is stacking shelves in a grocery store as part of her rehab treatment.

The Mean Girls actress is also spending time reading, writing in her journal and working with horses while undergoing therapy for drug and alcohol addictions at the Cirque Lodge centre in Utah.

The star described her routine in a photoshoot with the US version of OK! magazine. In one picture, she is seen reading the 164-page Alcoholics Anonymous 'Big Book', which features personal stories of recovery.

The magazine's editor-in-chief Sarah Ivens said: "She really is taking her treatment very seriously. She is replacing Los Angeles and smoking with yoga and reading.

"Lindsay has been really worried about the influence she's having on her little sister Aliana. That's why this time she's determined to sort herself out, because she doesn't want Ali to grow up and suffer the same things she's suffered. She hasn't looked this good in years."

The 21-year-old left the centre earlier for a visit with her mother, brother, sister and grandmother.

Details of her rehab routine were initially leaked to the press earlier this month.
