Lindsay Lohan faces seven charges

Lindsay Lohan has been charged on seven counts of cocaine possession, drunken driving and reckless driving following two recent arrests.

The actress was arrested in May when she crashed in Beverly Hills then in July after a car chase in Los Angeles.

On both occasions she was allegedly found with cocaine but the amount was small enough to be treated as a minor charge, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said on Thursday.

Lohan's lawyers had previously hoped some of the charges would be dropped.
