Shayne Ward video is too raunchy for TV

Shayne Ward's new video has been hastily re-edited after TV executives branded it too "raunchy" for younger viewers.

The most explicit scenes from the 'No U Hang Up' video were cut to ensure it is eligible for daytime rotation on music channels.

The video shows the X Factor star passionately embracing a model in bed, in a swimming pool and on a grassy knoll.

One music channel executive told DS: "There was no way we would have been allowed to show the video in its original form – it was just too raunchy.

"We had to ask the record company to cut the steamiest scenes so we would be able to show it. The video arrived on Friday morning and we were due to start showing it over the weekend.”
