Nutini relieved after escaping Winehouse gigs
Paolo Nutini has admitted that he feels relieved after learning that he will not be going on tour with Amy Winehouse.

The 'Last Request' singer had signed up for gigs in the US and Canada with Winehouse, but he was not looking forward to the prospect after she ignored him at the Isle of Wight festival.

All of Amy's concerts were cancelled following her recent drugs collapse, meaning that Nutini will now be playing in the US alone.

"I was looking forward to it, but there were funny vibes at the Isle Of Wight festival," Paolo told the Daily Record. "She did the gig with the Stones and we were at the side of the stage and she walked by. I didn't even get a 'hello' but the US gigs had already been booked."

He added: "I'll be thinking a good thought for Amy. She is a remarkable talent, but in the meantime, I'm truly excited about this upcoming tour of North America."
