Friends of Renee Zellweger have insisted that there is no truth in reports that she is dating Beatles legend Paul McCartney.
The Bridget Jones's Diary actress was recently spotted at a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers gig in New York with McCartney, which sparked rumours that they are romantically involved.
However, Renee's pals have dismissed the reports and insisted that the pair are "just good friends".
One source told the New York Daily News: "I don't believe there's anything between them. He was sitting with [US comedienne] Amy Poehler and her husband, and she [Renee] was with two friends and left 15 minutes after he did."
