Britney Spears' friend in 'hit and run'

A friend of Britney Spears has been involved in a 'hit and run' car accident, when he was allegedly trying to avoid Kevin Federline's lawyers handing him a subpoena.

The friend, who has been named only as Sam, turned up at his house in Venice Beach in California last night, but saw that Federline's legal team were waiting to hand over legal papers.

A source told Perez Hilton: "He drove into Aaron’s car and sped off. He didn’t even obey the nearby stop sign”.

Police then reportedly arrived on the scene to investigate the alleged hit and run.

The papers are being handed out to call people close to Britney to court to give evidence during the custody battle for sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.
