Owen Wilson was reportedly binging on crystal meth and hillbilly heroin before he attempted to commit suicide.
Reports from the US indicate that the Wedding Crashers star had taken a bottle of Oxcodone painkillers before cutting his wrists.
The painkillers have been dubbed hillbilly heroin due to their cheap and highly addictive nature. It is also claimed that the actor has been regularly taking crystal meth recently, an addictive form of amphetamine that's normally smoked.
A report last night suggested that Wilson's suicide attempt may have been linked to a "vicious quarrel" with an anonymous figure at his home earlier in the day.
Neighbour Geoffrey White told The Mirror: "Someone was with him before this happened. He wasn't alone."
