
The girl group stuck up for the 'Rehab' singer amid claims her in-laws wanted people to rally against the star and stop buying her music in order to make her see sense.
But Cheryl Cole told GMTV: "I don't think it will help not giving Amy any awards, and not buying her records.
"It's an amazing album from a very talented singer, and I think she still needs to be recognised for her work."
Group member and renowned party girl, Sarah Harding agreed, saying: "I don't think it's fair not to buy her records at all."
