Tarrant "in love" with new girlfriend

Chris Tarrant has revealed that he is "madly in love" with his new girlfriend Jane Bird.

The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host has just returned from a romantic holiday in Italy with Jane, who is employed as a council worker.

A friend of Tarrant told the Sunday Mirror: "Chris has said he is madly in love with Jane and he's not shy about his feelings. Their holiday proved to Chris just how much she means to him."

Chris is now considering whether to ask Jane to move into his £800,000 flat in Esher, Surrey.
