BBC radio DJ Andy Kershaw is in custody after allegedly breaching a restraining order to stay away from his ex-partner.
The former Radio One presenter, now at Radio Three, was arrested on Wednesday near Juliette Banner's home. She secured a restraining order, banning him from visiting the property on the Isle of Man, after they split up.
Kershaw appeared before a court on Thursday and was remanded in custody to reappear on Tuesday.
The presenter, originally from Rochdale, now also lives on the Isle of Man and presents a world music show on Radio Three.
He is currently on a summer break from the programme which he has hosted since 2001.
