Hilton for 'Prisoner Cell Block H' musical?

Paris Hilton is reportedly in talks to star in the musical version of Aussie soap Prisoner Cell Block H.

The star of The Simple Life is rumoured to be keen to make her mark on the West End stage and has apparently been researching the original TV series to help her get the part.

A show insider told the Daily Star: "There was a real buzz around the show when we thought we would get some well-known Aussie soap actors but Paris is a major coup.

"The casting agents actually didn't even think she'd try out but she swotted up with DVDs of the original show, that she had flown in especially."

They added: "Paris has been trying to get a West End stage show for a while."

It was reported last week that Hilton was being lined up to appear in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother. However, the rumours were quashed with the news that the shows producers were cancelling next year's programme.
