Shaggy has attacked President George Bush over his decision to take the USA to war in Iraq.

The 'Mr Boombastic' rapper has called for US troops to be brought home, claiming that the war is "stupid".

The singer was reported as saying: "It's rough and I think they should send the boys home. It was stupid first time round and it's stupid the second time."

Criticising the US leader's foreign policy, he added: "History should show you - stay out of the Bushes."

Shaggy, who used to be a US marine, served in the first Gulf War, under George Bush's father's presidency. He commented: "I'm damn lucky I'm not in this one."
