Winehouse rejects Sid Vicious comparisons

Amy Winehouse has insisted that she and Blake Fielder-Civil will not end up dead like Sid Vicious and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen.

The 'Rehab' singer's relationship with her husband has been compared to the one between Sid and Nancy in recent weeks.

Sex Pistol Sid was arrested on suspicion of stabbing Nancy to death in 1978. He later died of a drug overdose.

"We are not going to end up like them," Amy told The Sun. "We're in love and have everything to live for."

Winehouse was rushed to hospital last month, after a reported overdose of cocaine, ecstasy pills and ketamine. She and Blake later checked into a rehab clinic, but they left after just a few days.

Blake added: "We vehemently deny the stuff about drugs. It's speculation - it's rubbish. We admit things have been a little crazy and have to change. We're going to sort ourselves out."
