BBC Radio 3 DJ Andy Kershaw has been released after six days in prison having allegedly breached a restraining order.
He was arrested last Wednesday and has been charged with going near the Isle of Man home of his ex-partner. Police said he was in breach of a restraining order Juliette Banner obtained when they split.
Kershaw appeared at the Deputy High Bailiff’s Court, in Douglas, on the island, on Tuesday. According to The Sun he looked tired during the hearing and was granted bail.
Banner, who has two children with Kershaw, was granted the order on August 1. She moved to the Isle of Man with Kershaw, who used to work on Radio 1, last year.
