Loaded LAFTAS nominations announced

The nominations for this year's Loaded LAFTAS Comedy Awards with Nivea For Men have been announced.

Russell Brand and Friday Night Project duo Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr have received three nominations. Brand will battle for the title of Best Stand Up, Funniest Newspaper Columnist and Funniest Man. Justin and Alan are also in the running for Funniest Man, as well as being contenders for the Funniest Double Act and Funniest TV Programme awards.

Celebrity couple David and Victoria Beckham have received their first ever nomination, and could walk away with the Funniest Double Act award.

Meanwhile, Extras star Ashley Jensen will face competition from Catherine Tate, Michelle Gomez, Olivia Colman and Karen Taylor in the Funniest Woman category.

All of the awards will be voted for by Loaded readers. The ceremony will be held at London's Pigalle club on Thursday 4th October.
