The condition of opera legend Luciano Pavarotti has worsened, according to reports.
The singer, 71, was released from hospital a fortnight ago after undergoing tests relating to his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer.
Italian news agency AGI reports that the tenor is now in a "very serious" condition at his home in Modena, around 250 miles North of Rome, where he is surrounded by family and friends.
Earlier this week the Italian government announced plans to give Pavarotti an inaugural prize in recognition of his work.
