Madonna, Elton end feud at GQ Awards

Madonna and Elton John have called time on their long-running feud.

The pop superstars embraced onstage at Tuesday's GQ Men of the Year Awards in central London.

John joked: "This is a moment you thought you would never see," prompting Madonna to quip that he had "written a grovelling apology and offered to join the Kabbalah".

John enraged the pop queen in 2004 when he accused her of miming during her 'Re-Invention' tour, saying: "F*** off! Since when has lip-syncing been live?"
