The Osbournes star is due to make her West End debut in Chicago as Mama Morton next week, and she hopes it will give her chance to show up her critics.
Osbourne told The Mirror: "It's my chance to prove that I'm not a fat, talentless, rude brat. Yeah, I am Ozzy and Sharon's daughter and I'm f*****g proud of that. But I'm also someone else. I do have talent and I can achieve things on my own."
The reality TV star, who was named as the new host of Radio 1's Sunday Surgery programme earlier this week, wants her stage performance to make her rock star father proud.
She commented: "Me appearing in the West End has really got to my dad. He can hardly talk about it because he gets choked up. He's the one I want to make proud. I want him to be happy."
