Timberlake wins Emmy for 'box' sketch

Justin Timberlake has won a Creative Art Emmy for a fake music video sketch on the US comedy show Saturday Night Live.

The singer's skit involved him presenting a gift-wrapped box to a loved one, containing a part of the male anatomy.

Timberlake's co-star for the video, Andy Samberg, collected the best original music and lyrics award for their 'D*ck in a Box' sketch at last night's ceremony.

Samburg commented: "I think it's safe to say that when we first set out to make this song, we were all thinking 'Emmy!'

"The other thing we were thinking was, 'Hey!' Here's this young up and comer, Justin Timberlake, who is clearly very talented and could use a break.' So Justin, if you're out there, congrats to you, kid."

Samberg and Timberlake beat a musical edition of Scrubs to take the award.
