Oscar-winning actress Jane Wyman has died at the age of 90 at her home in Palm Springs.
The Falcons Crest star won an Academy Award for her portrayal of a deaf rape victim in 1940s film Johnny Belinda, and was the first wife of former US President Ronald Reagan.
Richard Adney of the Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Cathedral City revealed Wyman had died early on Monday.
Her son Michael Reagan released a statement about her death, saying: "I have lost a loving mother, my children Cameron and Ashley have lost a loving grandmother, my wife Colleen has lost a loving friend she called Mum and Hollywood has lost the classiest lady to ever grace the silver screen."
