Timberlake ordered to rest his voice

Justin Timberlake has been forced to reschedule two shows after doctors advised him to rest his voice.

The 'SexyBack' singer has been touring for a number of months and is suffering from vocal strain following his performance at the weekend's MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.

His planned appearance in Sacramento on Monday has now been pushed back until September 10. Timberlake was also due to perform in San Jose tonight but will instead take to the stage on September 23.

The singer will be resting his voice over the next few days and fans who bought tickets for the two postponed dates will be able to use their original tickets for the changed times.
