Girls Aloud star to dance in Compton
Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole will learn the art of street dancing in one of America's most dangerous cities, Compton, for a new TV show.

The 'Love Machine' girlband are taking part in a new ITV2 TV show called Passions, where they get to act out their dreams.

Cole's choice of street dancing in LA will see her learning the art of krumping, which was the dance style used for Madonna's 'Hung Up' music video.

Although the singer's husband Ashley Cole is reportedly not happy about the star working in Compton, the popstar is looking forward to the challenge.

A source told The Mirror: "Cheryl is really excited about it as she has always wanted to do this and can't stop talking about it.

"She grew up in a tough area of Newcastle so she knows how to handle herself."

Cole's bandmate Nadine Coyle has chosen to learn how to become a classical conductor, while Sarah Harding will be attempting to play polo in Argentina.
