Spice Girls for G-A-Y?

The Spice Girls are rumoured to be planning to play a gig at London's famous G-A-Y club night.

A report in the Mirror claims that the 'Spice Up Your Life' singers may be about to announce a date at the Astoria for the last weekend in November as a warm-up for their world tour.

The venue has announced it will be holding a special weekend of events on November 29 and 30 and hasn't ruled out an appearance from the girl-power pop group.

However, a spokesperson for the popstars has responded that the rumours are "inaccurate".
