Charlotte Church has insisted that giving up alcohol during her pregnancy has been easy.

The 'Crazy Chick' singer admitted that she does not miss the way alcohol turned her into a "nasty" and "aggressive" person, and claimed that she does not like the taste of booze.

"I actually don't like the taste of alcohol. I like the effect of being p***ed, so to give it up wasn't hard because I'm not one of those people who has a glass of wine every night," Charlotte told Cosmopolitan magazine. "It's also made me realise what a bad drunk I was. I would get nasty, aggressive and jealous."

She added: "Drinking doesn't suit any of the women in my family."

Charlotte's first child with rugby player Gavin Henson is due this month.
