Spears to face secret 'drug' witness

It has been claimed that Britney Spears will have to face a 'secret' witness who has been lined up to appear during her custody battle in order to testify that she took drugs in front of her two sons.

The singer is starting her court battle against ex-husband Kevin Federline today in an LA court, seeking to gain custody of boys two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James.

Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, has also lined up others close to Spears, including her former bodyguard, her ex-PA, her manager, an ex-boyfriend and her cousin, who were all handed subpoenas to testify in court.

The latest witness was secured by attorney Gloria Allred and has been named only as "a man who’s had close observation of Spears' behaviour with her kids".

Allred said of the latest witness: "You may recognise him as we walk in court. But maybe not. He is not famous. He's just someone who is concerned about the kids."
