Clooney knows looks won't last

George Clooney has revealed that he remains grounded by reminding himself that his looks won't last forever.

The Good Night And Good Luck actor believes he would look stupid if he took polls suggesting he's the sexiest man in the world too seriously.

Clooney reportedly said: "There is no way I can respond to those awards without sounding like a jackass. If I say 'Yes, I am a sex symbol', then I sound like a conceited idiot.

"The only way to live with it is just say thank you and realise it is not going to last. Nothing ever does."

The Hollywood actor added: "All those things are going to disappear one day and I know that every time I get confronted by fans. They'll talk about me as if I am not there. Like how much older I look in person or have all this grey hair."
