Celine Dion has admitted that she probably would not make it as a successful singer if she had to start in today's tough music business.
The 'My Heart Will Go On' hitmaker made her breakthrough in the early nineties, but she thinks that the industry has got tougher and that her skinny look and bad teeth would have jeopardised her chances if she was trying to make it in 2007.
Canadian native Dion commented on today's industry, saying: "A great voice is not enough… They (singers) need to be pretty.
"When I look at myself in the past, I get very emotional. I worked really hard, and I surpassed myself… I didn't have, visually, what it took.
"I was not pretty, I had teeth problems, and I was very skinny. I didn't fit the mould."
