Timberlake stands by Britney

Justin Timberlake has stuck up for Britney Spears during an interview with chat show host Oprah Winfrey.

The 'SexyBack' singer talked about Spears' recent troubles and claimed that he still had "love" for the popstar.

When asked what was currently happening with the 'Toxic' singer, Timberlake told Winfrey: "I don't know, to be honest with you. I haven't spoken to her in years.

"There's no ill will. I have nothing but love for her."

Timberlake added: "It's funny because we dated each other at a time... Wow, I haven't talked about this in a long time, this is interesting. We were teenagers.

"I think she's a great person. And I don't know her as well as I did. What I do know about her is she has a huge heart."
