John Lydon has slammed Sting, calling him a "soggy old dead carcass", and ridiculed the reformation of The Police.
The punk legend, who has recently decided to reunite with his own group the Sex Pistols for a one-off 30th anniversary concert, scorned the eighties group for getting back together to do a tour.
Speaking about The Police, Lydon told Virgin Radio: "That really is a reformation isn't it? But honestly that's like soggy old dead carcasses.
"You know listening to 'Stink' try to squeak through 'Roxanne' one more time, that's not fun. It's like letting air out of a balloon."
