Pitt praises Parker for adopting child

Brad Pitt has praised his The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford co-star Mary-Louise Parker for deciding to adopt a child.

The West Wing actress already has her own three-year-old son, but has been making plans to follow in the footsteps of the Babel actor by going to Africa to adopt a baby.

Pitt, who has three adopted children with his partner Angelina Jolie, said about Parker: "I think that's a great idea! She's a great mother, she graced our film, came in and did a really lovely part for us.

"She had her little boy out and she was a really lovely mother."
